On March 1, 2024, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 25-year-old Jessica Smith and her six-year-old daughter, Ailin, were tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident. Authorities identified 29-year-old Christian Gil as the perpetrator, who fatally shot Jessica and Ailin before taking his own life.
