On April 28, 2024, Isaiah De'Vion Henderson, a 22-year-old male from the nearby town of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, was at Smoove's Bar and Grill located at 2150 Fort Campbell Boulevard. Shortly after 12:30 a.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the atmosphere of the nightclub.
Clarksville Police were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call about the shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Isaiah Henderson inside the establishment, suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Officers immediately began to provide medical aid until emergency medical services arrived. Henderson was then rushed to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville for treatment.
