On September 10, 2024, 18-year-old Carlos LaGerald Wills of Lebanon, Tennessee, was found with a gunshot wound to the head near the Ash Ridge Drive area in Clarksville, adjacent to a Dollar General parking lot. Emergency responders transported him to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville and subsequently to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was placed on life support. Tragically, Wills succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on September 11, 2024.
