Death by Force

Hakeem Canty, a 19-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on October 9, 2017, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Canty was shot after his brother's friend attempted to clear a Glock 9 mm handgun at an apartment complex. The gun discharged accidentally, hitting Canty in the back. He was immediately flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
