Death by Force

On May 17, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m., 29-year-old Darrius Jamal Bergeron was fatally shot near the intersection of Hart and Lewis Streets in Nashville, Tennessee. A witness reported seeing Bergeron approach the passenger side of a white SUV just before gunfire erupted. Following the shooting, two SUVs were observed fleeing the scene toward Trimble Street.
