On April 28, 2023, Dequan Howse, a 33-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life in what authorities described as an apparent targeted shooting. The incident occurred as Howse was walking through a courtyard in Nashville when he was suddenly attacked by an armed assailant.
