On a Monday morning in June 2021, the body of 31-year-old Michael C. Wilson Jr. was discovered in a parked car at the City Side Flats apartments on Lebanon Pike in Nashville. A worker at the apartment complex found Wilson unresponsive in the driver's seat and alerted the authorities. It was determined that the Madison resident had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation into Wilson's death began after residents of the apartment complex reported hearing gunshots at 10:50 p.m.
the previous night. Although officers responded to the initial reports and searched the area, they did not find anything at that time. The discovery of Wilson's body the following morning launched a homicide investigation.
Michael C. Wilson Jr., born in Nashville on May 30, 1990, was a former student of Stratford High School and worked as a cook. He was known for his enjoyment of sports, playing PlayStation, and spending time with his family and friends.
