On a Monday morning in June 2021, the body of 31-year-old Michael C. Wilson Jr. was discovered in a parked car at the City Side Flats apartments on Lebanon Pike in Nashville. A worker at the apartment complex found Wilson unresponsive in the driver's seat and alerted the authorities. It was determined that the Madison resident had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation into Wilson's death began after residents of the apartment complex reported hearing gunshots at 10:50 p.m.
