On March 13, 2023, at approximately 3:45 a.m., 47-year-old Terrese Lamont Patterson was fatally shot inside his residence on Lischey Avenue in East Nashville, Tennessee. According to reports, Patterson was in an upstairs room with an acquaintance when a gunshot was heard. The acquaintance, later identified as 52-year-old James Alex Harris, fled the scene immediately after the incident.
