Death by Force

On October 13, 2024, at approximately 2:40 a.m., 25-year-old Raybon "Ray Ray" Da'monta Porter was fatally shot in the parking lot of Illuzion Bar & Lounge, located at 2510 Murfreesboro Pike in South Nashville. Porter had been leaning into a friend's car window, engaging in conversation, when at least two vehicles entered the parking lot and opened fire. He was struck in the back and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
