On January 17, 2023, at approximately 11:27 p.m., a tragic shooting occurred inside the Shangri-La Chinese Restaurant located on the 5400 block of Chester Avenue in Philadelphia. Three individuals were struck by gunfire: 43-year-old Kristie Manago, 19-year-old Johron Jones, and a 20-year-old man whose identity has not been publicly disclosed.
