On January 16, 2023, at approximately 6:09 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to a residence on the 5500 block of Crowson Street in the East Germantown neighborhood. Inside the living room, they discovered 25-year-old Kendra Johnson lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds to her head. Four spent shell casings from a semiautomatic weapon were found near her body, indicating she was shot at close range.
