Latoya Maria McNear, a 29-year-old woman from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost her life on May 15, 2022. The incident occurred early on Mother's Day morning, around 2:00 a.m., at the intersection of Cottman Avenue and Rising Sun Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia. According to police reports, McNear was shot twice in the chest during an argument that escalated into violence. She was immediately rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m.
