On July 8, 2023, at approximately 3:51 p.m., York City Police responded to a reported shooting on the 1000 block of Richland Avenue in York, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, officers discovered 65-year-old Sterling Miller with a single gunshot wound to the head. Miller was transported to WellSpan York Hospital, where he remained in critical condition until his passing on July 12, 2023.
