Phillip Trent Banks Jr., a 20-year-old male of African American ethnicity from York, PA, tragically lost his life on May 21, 2018. He was fatally shot in the first block of North Franklin Street in York City, and the York County Coroner's Office determined that his death was a homicide caused by multiple gunshot wounds. Banks had been released from state prison just three weeks prior to his death, having been paroled on May 1, 2018.
