Ruban DeJesus, a 17-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity from York, PA, tragically lost his life on October 21, 2018. DeJesus was fatally shot by Marquise Stanley, a 34-year-old man from York, during an attempted robbery. The incident occurred on Linden Avenue near North West Street in York. DeJesus and another man, Marquis "Marky" Butts, attempted to rob Stanley during a drug deal involving a half-ounce of marijuana worth $90.
