In the winter of 2013, the life of 26-year-old Derek Christian Ferree of York, Pennsylvania, was tragically cut short. On the evening of Saturday, November 23, Ferree, a Caucasian male, was fatally shot in what authorities have described as a drug deal that spiraled into a double homicide. The incident, which also claimed the life of 23-year-old Braydon Aldinger, unfolded in the 500 block of West Mason Avenue in York.
