Khari Keem Wilkes, a 28-year-old individual from Kannapolis, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 6, 2025, following a shooting incident in a parking lot on Pine Hill Lane. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 6 p.m. and discovered Wilkes suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency responders transported him to Northeast Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
