Benny Sloan Jr., a 46-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 2, 2022, in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Benny was found dead alongside his aunt, Sharon Chambers, 61, at her residence, which also operated as a daycare center. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 8 a.m., when police responded to a report of a shooting at the location.
