In the quiet, pre-dawn hours of a January morning in 2017, a grim discovery was made at the intersection of Hokes Mill Road and Old Salem Road in West Manchester Township, York County. First responders were called to the scene for a report of a fire, but what they found was far more sinister: the burning body of a young man. The victim was later identified as 23-year-old Juan Acevedo DeJesus, a resident of Philadelphia with no apparent connections to the York area. An autopsy would later reveal ...
