Shannon Williams, a 41-year-old man from York, PA, tragically died on March 5, 2020. His death was ruled a homicide by the York County Coroner. Williams was shot multiple times by his nephew, Daryl Sweatman, 36, who mistakenly believed Williams was an intruder. The incident occurred early in the morning at a home on the 300 block of Oak Lane. Sweatman, who had previously pleaded guilty to felony drug charges, was not legally allowed to possess a firearm.
