On September 26, 2018, Dezmen Jones, a 15-year-old African American male from York, PA, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred behind a house in the 600 block of West Princess Street. Dezmen was known for his love of bicycles and performing tricks, such as wheelies. He was a freshman at William Penn Senior High School and was described as intelligent, witty, charismatic, and full of energy.
