On April 13, 2022, 30-year-old Miguel M. Roman from York, PA, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident. The incident occurred around 11:17 p.m. in the 500 block of West Market Street. Miguel was one of two victims fatally shot that night; the other victim, 27-year-old Jordan Simpson, was found dead at the scene. Miguel was taken to UPMC Memorial Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries early the next morning.
