In the late afternoon of a summer day in Philadelphia, tragedy struck on the 3800 block of I Street. On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at approximately 3:12 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers were called to the scene where they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Eric Cruz-Romero, a male resident of the city.
