On August 3, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., 58-year-old Tina M. "Bean" Grier was shot while sleeping in her apartment on South 10th Street in Reading, Pennsylvania. A bullet fired from outside entered her residence, striking her in the face. She was transported to Reading Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
