In the fall of 2017, the life of 23-year-old Madison Walb, a female from Reading, Pennsylvania, was tragically cut short. On October 8, 2017, her body was discovered wrapped in a carpet in a wooded area off Riegel Road in Lower Heidelberg Township. An autopsy would later reveal that she had died from a single gunshot wound to the head. The discovery of her body marked the beginning of a year-long investigation into her death.
