In what was described by authorities as a murder-suicide, 29-year-old Megan Saunders was killed in her Dover Township, Pennsylvania, home on September 13, 2023. The perpetrator was identified as her 31-year-old former partner, Devon Elias. The two shared a child and had a history of domestic issues, which had led to Saunders obtaining a Protection From Abuse order against Elias in Baltimore County, Maryland.
