On October 17, 2023, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 5400 block of Chester Avenue in the Kingsessing neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Khron "Black" Hall lying in the street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:00 p.m.
