In the early hours of a cold January morning in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the lives of two security guards were tragically cut short in a brutal act of violence. Ronald Dailey, a 37-year-old male, and his colleague, Alisha Seese, also 37, were found fatally shot on January 12, 2024. Their bodies were discovered on Terrace Place, not far from their workplace, Lycoming Engines, where they were both employed as contracted security officers.
The investigation into their deaths revealed a
chilling sequence of events that began as they were leaving work. Surveillance footage from the Lycoming Engines employee parking lot captured the harrowing moments when two individuals, later identified as Troy Bailey Sr. and Muhammad Davis, ambushed Dailey and Seese. The pair were then forced into Dailey's vehicle and driven away from the premises. A few hours later, their bodies were found. An autopsy would later confirm that both had died from multiple gunshot wounds. Dailey had been shot once in the back of the head and once in the face.
The subsequent police investigation led to a series of arrests, painting a picture of a premeditated and coordinated crime. Troy Bailey Sr., 58, was identified as the primary suspect and charged with first-degree murder, kidnapping, and robbery, among other offenses. Randall Johnson, 54, a security supervisor at Lycoming Engines, was charged with providing Seese's work schedule to Bailey, which police say was crucial to the planning of the abduction. A fifth person, Stacey King, 56, was later charged with hindering the investigation by providing false statements to the police about Bailey's whereabouts.
