On December 9, 2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Williamsport Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the 1000 block of Memorial Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Jermaine Derick Mullen lying unresponsive in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical attention, Mullen was pronounced dead at the scene.
