On the evening of April 13, 2024, Edward "Eddy" Gibson, a 36-year-old resident of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, was fatally shot outside Beer Belly's bar located on 5th Street. The incident occurred around 10:38 p.m., when Allegheny County 9-1-1 received reports of a shooting at the establishment. First responders arrived to find two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
