On August 11, 2024, 48-year-old Patrick A. Hulihan was fatally shot at his father's residence in Wayne Township, near Corry, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred during an altercation between Patrick and his father, 72-year-old Gary S. Hulihan. During the confrontation, Gary Hulihan discharged a .40-caliber Glock 22 handgun, striking his son in the abdomen. After the shooting, Gary transported Patrick to Corry Memorial Hospital, where Patrick was pronounced dead at 7:57 p.m.
