On October 6, 2021, Bahir Lacy, a 29-year-old Black male, was tragically shot multiple times in the 600 block of Fairmount Avenue in Philadelphia's Northern Liberties neighborhood. He was found by Philadelphia Police officers at around 6:33 p.m. and was immediately transported to Jefferson Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
