Eric Eberhart Sr., a 46-year-old Black/African American male, was killed on the morning of April 23, 2018, in Philadelphia’s Nicetown section, just after what should have been an ordinary family routine. He had taken his 2-year-old child to a daycare center near Germantown Avenue and, moments later, was in his car with his 17-year-old son when a confrontation followed him into the street.
