In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Philadelphia, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet on the 700 block of West Lycoming Street. It was September 24, 2024, at approximately 11:36 p.m., when Philadelphia Police officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of the shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered a young man, identified as 24-year-old Juan Hernandez, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
