On September 24, 2024, at approximately 11:36 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 700 block of West Lycoming Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 24-year-old Juan Hernandez suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
