Saleem Mitchell, a 32-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA. He was shot multiple times on the night of November 10, 2017, at around 9:40 p.m. Philadelphia Police Officers responded to the 2800 block of West Harold Street and found Saleem suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and back. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, Saleem succumbed to his injuries that night.
The incident also resulted in injuries to a second
victim, a 25-year-old Black male, who was found with a gunshot wound to the leg and was admitted to Hahnemann University Hospital in stable condition. Detectives have been urging anyone with information regarding Saleem's death to come forward and assist with the investigation.
As of now, there have been no arrests or suspects named in connection with Saleem Mitchell's death. The case remains unsolved, and the Philadelphia Police Department continues to seek information from the public to help bring justice for Saleem and his family.
