Saleem Mitchell, a 32-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2017, in Philadelphia, PA. He was shot multiple times on the night of November 10, 2017, at around 9:40 p.m. Philadelphia Police Officers responded to the 2800 block of West Harold Street and found Saleem suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and back. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, Saleem succumbed to his injuries that night.
