On February 5, 2023, 29-year-old Stephon Harris was found deceased from a gunshot wound in the 200 block of Gatlin Farm Road, approximately four miles northeast of Raeford, North Carolina. Upon arrival, Hoke County Sheriff's deputies discovered Harris unresponsive, and emergency medical services confirmed his death at the scene.
