Jeremiah Albert Woods, a 39-year-old man from Raeford, NC, tragically lost his life on January 8, 2021, in a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred on Duffie Road near the intersection of Old Maxton Road around 9:10 p.m. Jeremiah Woods was driving when he was shot, and a passenger in the car was also injured. Unfortunately, Jeremiah did not survive his injuries. The Hoke County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and began an investigation into the senseless murder.
