Steven Calloway Jr., a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 11, 2018, in Raeford, North Carolina. The incident occurred at Palmer Green Apartments around 2:30 a.m. Calloway had invited friends over, and some of them brought along individuals he did not know. Among these strangers was a 15-year-old boy. When Calloway asked the unknown guests to leave, the teenager returned and shot him in the chest.
