On October 6, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a tragic incident occurred at a Wendy's restaurant located in the 3700 block of West W.T. Harris Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. An altercation between two employees escalated into a fatal shooting, resulting in the death of 19-year-old J'Karri Marquise Anderson.
