On May 22, 2024, the body of 14-year-old Jonathan Miller was discovered in a wooded area near Ann Elizabeth Drive in Charlotte, North Carolina. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jonathan was a student at Julius L. Chambers High School in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools district. His untimely death shocked the local community, prompting an outpouring of grief and calls for action against youth violence.
