On the evening of May 12, 2025, 24-year-old Alvin Steele was fatally shot in a motel room at the Loyalty Inn on Lucky Penny Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tragic incident occurred around 6 p.m., when gunfire erupted inside the room where Alvin was staying. Motel staff, upon hearing the shots, immediately contacted emergency services.
