On June 7, 2024, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, 7-year-old Zion Arym Gibbs was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting while inside his home on Danish Drive. Multiple rounds were fired into the residence around midnight, with one bullet striking Zion. He was transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
