Michael Anthony McKoy, a 27-year-old African American male from Fayetteville, NC, tragically lost his life on June 3, 2021. He was found suffering from a gunshot wound along the 600 block of Banner Elk Drive, off Old Bunce Road. Despite being transported to the hospital, he was later pronounced dead. The incident occurred in a mobile home park, and it was determined that McKoy did not reside there.
