In the early hours of a Monday morning, the quiet of a Wyandanch, New York neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire that claimed the life of Herby Legros, a 45-year-old man from the area. The incident occurred on January 2, 2023, inside a residence on South 29th Street where Legros was visiting friends. He did not reside at the house but was a guest at the time of the fatal shooting.
