Darnell Snell, a 38-year-old resident of Brentwood, New York, tragically lost his life on April 10, 2021, in a fatal shooting incident inside the Wyandanch Convenience Store located at 315 Merritt Avenue. According to Suffolk police, Snell was inside the store at approximately 12:45 a.m. when he was shot by another man. The suspect fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.
