On June 25, 2023, at approximately 1 a.m., Frederick Jackson, a 37-year-old resident of Wyandanch, New York, was fatally shot during a house party on East Booker Avenue. Emergency responders arrived to find Jackson in the backyard of the residence with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.
