Alonte Shipp, a 20-year-old former high school football star from Wyandanch, NY, was tragically shot and killed on August 23, 2021. Shipp was outside his home on Lake Drive at approximately 4:30 a.m. when the incident occurred. He was reportedly sitting in a car with a female friend when a gunman approached and opened fire.
