On the evening of July 3, 2019, a 65-year-old male, Hugh James of Deer Park, was found dead in his commercial Town Car in Wyandanch, New York. Police officers responded to a 911 call reporting a car crash on Lake Drive at approximately 6:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. James in the driver's seat with what was determined to be a fatal gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
