In the early hours of a Sunday morning, just four days before Christmas in 2014, the life of 18-year-old Eric Meade was tragically cut short. A male resident of Wyandanch, New York, Meade was standing in his own front yard on South 26th Street, enjoying the company of a group of people. The festive season was shattered at approximately 1:20 a.m. on December 21st, when the sound of a gunshot pierced the night air.
