On December 21, 2014, Eric Meade, an 18-year-old resident of Wyandanch, New York, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:20 a.m., while Meade was standing in his front yard on South 26th Street with a group of people. According to reports, Meade was shot in the head and was subsequently transported by relatives to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
