Steven G. Lord, a 58-year-old investment banker from Leawood, Kansas, was found deceased on February 12, 2023, in his luxury condominium at 310 East 53rd Street in Midtown Manhattan. His wife, Sabina, informed authorities that he had been experiencing stress related to a work incident prior to his death. Emergency responders discovered him unconscious and unresponsive at approximately 11:07 AM.
